YouTuber MobileReviewsEh called them “categorically terrible” while CNET’s Patrick Holland dropped one into a bowl of avocado toast loaded with toppings that left dark marks. And while the case’s woven material is soft and offers good grip, it shows indentations from slipping your iPhone in and out of your pocket, plus its foam backing can snag lint on clothing. The cases also don’t cover the USB-C port like previous Apple cases, so you’ll need to remove them to use the charging cable.
